PETER SAVILLE

Peter Saville's iconic album and poster artwork for Factory Records' artists such as New Order and Joy Division not only changed the way people looked at music packaging but influenced visual culture across the board.

In his first visit to Los Angeles in over a decade, Saville participated in a question and answer session led by prominent art curator Christopher Mount. The intimate forum and reception was an exclusive interactive discussion on Saville's visionary influence on pop culture and pivotal role as the creative director of the city of Manchester, England. Manchester native Tim Burgess of The Charlatans performed a special DJ set during the cocktail reception that followed the Q and A.

All guests in attendance received a limited edition T-shirt and autographed poster, signed and numbered, designed by LA based artist Ramses, in collaboration with Peter Saville. The art for the design was based on Saville's renown "Use hearing Protection"/FAC 1 artwork.
